cropped-ReadingRoom1.jpgThroughout our lives we come across situations that appear meaningless, leading us to questions that seem to have no answer. The Reading Room is here to help you find answers to those important questions in life.IMG_0319

  • What is the purpose of life?
  • Why is there so much suffering in the world?
  • Why does evil exist?
  • Is death really the end?
  • Do humans have a free will?

At the Reading Room we provide a quiet place to read, study, and review literature about topics such as:

  • Christianity and the Church
  • God and Jesus Christ
  • Faith, death and life

We also offer literature in the Protestant Reformed (Calvinist) tradition. This implies an emphasis on being guided by Scripture alone in all questions and on seeking God’s glory in all undertakings.

The Reading Room contains material spanning the centuries since the Reformation, including themes such as Calvinism, God’s covenant with mankind, the sacraments (Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper), as well as literature that explores the reasons for differences between churches that all claim to have the same faith.

Should you have further questions, please feel free to visit us at 5272 Grimmer Street in Burnaby.  When the Room is open, volunteers are available to assist and help you find answers to your questions, as well as direct you to relevant literature.

You may also communicate with us online – please send any comments or questions to [email protected]

Thank you for visiting our website. We’d love to welcome you to the Reading Room in person!
